In today’s volatile environment, executive protection is crucial for individuals and organizations alike. In 2013, Amazon invested $1.6 million in their CEO's safety. Other companies, such as Disney and FedEx follow the same path and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to protect their top executives.

So why are companies and organizations willing to invest and dedicate so much to protecting their leaders? The answer is simple: They know the importance of executive protection.

What is Executive Protection?

“First Aid Kit” is a term that is familiar to us. “Trauma Kit,” however, is a term we seldom hear of. In addition, many people don’t know the difference between the two types of kits. We will break down the differences between a First Aid Kit and a Trauma Kit below.

The Difference Between First Aid and Trauma Kits 

A Trauma Kit is meant for major injuries, usually life-threatening. Its main purpose is to keep a person alive until help arrives. In this case, a hospital and/or doctor is most likely needed.

According to Richmond.gov.uk, risk behaviors are defined as “those that potentially expose people to harm, or significant risk of harm which will prevent them reaching their potential.”
